ARC- Aquaculture Remote Classroom

6th class were delighted to welcome the ARC mobile classroom to our school grounds this week. 

6th class learnt all about aquaculture- the farming of fish, shellfish and aquatic plants in water, the benefits of aquaculture and how we use aquaculture here in Ireland.

The class got to try out some virtual reality headsets to get up close and personal with aquaculture and participated in a fun and lively interactive quiz at the end of the day. 

Thanks very much to the facilitators and Bord Iascaigh Mhara for a fun day.
