Biodiversity Day
14th Oct 2025
We had a great visit from David and Sinead today to continue work on our Greenschool Biodiversity theme.
Our task in 5th and 6th class was to make a habitat map. It will show our 10 tree trail -this is continued from last year where each class was assigned a native tree; we have a Hawthorn and Birch tree in 5th and 6th.
We will also add in features like the Bug hotel, nest boxes, compost area, our moss garden and Ivy wall to mention a few .
David highlighted all of the Biodiversity around our school.... even on the wire fence!
