Today we planted Hawthorn saplings. They will grown into Hawthorn trees and be part of our native trees that make our schools bio-diverse.This is part of our Greenschools program and integrates with our literacy as we are also reading-Under the Hawthorn Tree by Marita Conlon -McKenna in our class.
