Junior Infants on Tour 🚌

12th Jun 2022

Junior Infants really enjoyed their recent School Tour to Aillwee Cave and the Birds of Prey Centre. They learned a lot about the features of the cave, saw bear bones and were so brave when the light was turned off to show how dark the cave really is. At the Birds of Prey Centre we saw "Batty" the Golden Eagle from Africa, "Jess" the Barn Owl and a beautiful Falcon that can fly two hundred miles an hour. We found out lots of interesting facts about these birds. It was lovely to see the joy, curiosity, adventure, bravery and friendship displayed by the children.
