The Vikings Are Here!

12th Feb 2020

Third class did a project on the Vikings.  As part of our project we made long ships and loong houses from wood, cardboard and cloth.

We learned interesting facts about the Vikings in doing this project.  Here are some of the facts:

- The Vikings named their axes and swords scary names like "Blood Killer" or "Bone Cruncher".

- The walls of the Vikings houses were made from mud and sticks.  This is called wattle construction.

- The Vikings wore brooches as part of their favourite jewellery.
