Tree Week 🌳

7th Mar 2024

This week for Tree Week we spoke about our class tree which is the horse chestnut. Ms Moroney has an ash tree near her house and there are magpies making a nest there. We looked at an image of the nest they are building and a video of the birds singing. We also explored the trees around our school yard. We saw lots of spruce and oak trees. We found out spruce trees are evergreen and oak trees are deciduous.
