Water Safety Workshop

5th and 6th class had a wonderful day at the White Strand today where they attended a water safety workshop. Many thanks to Clare and Karen from Clare County Council and Ms. Carroll for facilitating the workshop.

The children learned about water safety, the role of the lifeguard, beach bye-laws and environmental awareness at the beach emphasising the importance of 'Leave no Trace'.

No trip to the beach is complete without a dip in the sea too!
